What is TempSure Vitalia?
Tempsure Vitalia is a non-surgical, non-invasive, non-ablative, comfortable treatment using monopolar radiofrequency (RF) technology to improve the function and strength of the internal vaginal tissue (treatments are for therapeutic benefit only. Kathleen does not treat with TempSure Vitalia for external labial cosmetic results). I have been researching and investigating non-surgical skin tightening devices/treatments for nearly 20 years, I am delighted to finally have the Tempsure Vitalia. The benefits are also far greater than just skin tightening.
How can this vaginal rejuvenation treatment help me?

Tempsure Vitalia stimulates collagen production and improves blood flow, leading to improved skin strength and possible tightening of the vaginal walls witha fuller more youthful vaginal lining. The effect is a decrease in vaginal diameter. This can improve sensation for both yourself and your partner.
This is one of the common positive side effects patients experience with TempSure Vitalia. Patients with mild to moderate stress urinary incontinence report a significant decrease of urinary leakage when coughing, laughing, or straining during physical activity. TempSure Vitalia can increase collagen in the urethrovesical junction, which can be weakened due to disruption of the pelvic floor, that happens during vaginal delivery. The new growth of healthy collagen strengthens this junction, providing improvement in bladder control.
Yes! Unlike ablative laser-based treatments, Tempsure Vitalia is non-ablative and does not require any downtime in sexual activity.
TempSure Vitalia increases the vascular blood supply to cells of the vaginal lining, stimulating natural vaginal lubrication. Greater blood flow to these areas improves delivery of oxygen and nutrients to these cells, allowing them to function more effectively. As a result, patients report a significant improvement in discomfort during intercourse and physical activities.
Vaginal dryness is a common issue for women with decreased estrogen levels or post menopause. Locally applied estrogen cream treatments has been the mainstay for postmenopausal vaginal dryness for women who have not responded to oral estrogen therapy or who are not able to take oral therapy. There are now more options.
TempSure Vitalia treatment is totally comfortable, it takes between 30-45 minutes depending on factors such as level of hydration and health of the vaginal tissues. There is a gentle heating of the external and internal vaginal tissue- you feel the warmth on the external skin, but internally the heat is not felt. It is a very comfortable treatment. All measures will be taken to respect your privacy.
Most patients note some immediate improvements in tightening (internal and external), mild stress incontinence, sensation and lubrication after one treatment. It varies from person to person, you can expect the benefits to be noticeable about two weeks after the initial treatment. The benefits build with each treatment. For best TempSure Vitalia results we recommend 3 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart, to assure the longevity of benefits. Optimum results will be observed three months after the final treatment. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 12 – 18 months after treatment or as required, this will vary between individuals.
To maximize your vaginal rejuvenation results, we recommend 3 initial treatments scheduled 1 month apart. Some patients may need 4 initial treatments, depending on the severity of their symptoms. The results usually last between 9 and 18 months. We recommend a single treatment every 9 to 18 months after the initial round to maintain your TempSure Vitalia results
Single treatment: $1,000
3 treatment package (recommended): $2400/ making it $800 per treatment, you are welcome to split this payment over the first two treatments. Your annual maintenance treatment with then be honored at the reduced rate of $800 per treatment which is a considerable cost saver.
This the most important question you should ask when considering TempSure Vitalia treatment. You must have a thorough evaluation by a provider who knows how to identify issues that cannot be addressed by Tempsure Vitalia. For example, Tempsure Vitalia will not help if you have severe vaginal prolapse.
- You must have a clear pap smear result within the last 2 years, preferably the last 12 months
- Have no active sexually transmitted disease/infection
- Not have a current urinary tract infection
- Treatments can be done during your menstrual period, but for your comfort you may wish to schedule treatments outside of this time
- It is not absolutely necessary, but if you have concerns it is advised that you see your local doctor/GP for a simple vaginal examination prior to treatment, this can be done during your routine pap smear test collection
