Secret Duo with RF: delivers Bi-Polar radio frequency (RF) energy precisely and directly into the deeper layers of the dermis via minimally invasive micro needles
Secret Duo with Erbium Glass 1540nm Laser: is an additional treatment that can be delivered immediately after your Micro-needled RF treatment. It is non ablative 1540nm laser energy to denature and stimulate fresh new growth in your skin. It leaves the skin’s surface unmarked.
Both technologies deliver thermal energy and create microscopic wounds within the dermal layers of the skin, in turn stimulating fibroblast activity to generate significant collagen production as well as tightening of elastin fibres and an increase in lymphatic flow. The two treatments can be used separately or one after the other in the same treatment session. You will have a cooling device to use during the treatment to aid comfort.
Patients ultimately will achieve healthier, younger and fresher looking skin. Secret Duo is ideal for non-ablative resurfacing, active acne, atrophic acne scars, wrinkle reduction, improvement in skin laxity, stretch marks and skin tone and textural improvement.
This new combined non-ablative fractional resurfacing technique makes it a much gentler process with significantly reduced recovery time comparing to the
conventional ablative fractional laser. Most of my patients don’t want to take time off work to recover from a skin treatment. The typical interval between sessions is once every 3-4 weeks. This may vary according to your skin concerns and what we are aiming to achieve. A course of treatment is recommended for best results.
The synergic approach of RF micro-needling combined with non-ablative laser makes for a deluxe treatment with therapeutic elegance.
Treatment is commenced with the finest medical grade gold plated micro-needles are used to deliver RF energy between sections of healthy tissue to stimulate collagen; the building blocks for healthy, rejuvenated skin. Skin cells are stimulated and the underlying skin tissue is heated to produce new collagen and elastin.
The non-ablative laser causes thermal injury within the dermis leaving the epidermis intact limiting side effects and recovery time and improving clinical results.

A prickling sensation as the skin tissue is heated. A numbing cream may be applied to the target area prior to treatment depending on your skin concerns. you will have a cooling device to help aid your comfort. The treatment is fairly quick and any discomfort rapidly subsides after treatment. We can chat throughout the treatment- I find this really helps.
